A PEI builder of single family homes wanted to market and build mid-rise condos in PEI – for the first time. Prince Edward Island, Canada’s potato capital and the home of Anne of Green Gables, isn’t well known for its prowess in real estate development. In fact, this endeavour was to be its first.
Aligning our client’s expectations with their target markets and buyers’ needs was central to our approach for this project. We used the Structured Interview Process™ to ensure everyone was on the same page, MS Project to manage expectations, and Knowledge Up Next™ for document management. With our team in Toronto, the Architect in Montreal, and our client on the East coast, we used simple and effective tools for communication and tracking project performance.
We executed a comprehensive marketing strategy and implementation in a region virtually brand new to condo ownership. We worked to understand the target markets, develop the project’s brand and messaging, create the on-line presence and printed materials, and organize the launch events and sales processes. We implemented a flexible work plan, built and hosted all the project management tools and documents in a secure cloud. For our client, on launch night over 30% of the condos were either sold or reserved.
